This is the worst right hand corner in the United States: Why can't the sidewalk and curbing be rounded off like a "normal" corner? It forces you to go "deep" into Elm St before cutting to the right.
Another problem with this intersection is the traffic control. Traffic eastbound on Center St has has two lanes. One is a left turn lane. This also gets a lead light. The westbound is only one lane, and too narrow to pass a left turning vehicle on the right. During morning and evening rush, traffic can back up westbound if the first car in line is turning left. On more than one occasion I have had to sit through two or more cycles of the light. A simple fix is to give westbound the lead light.
