Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

This has occurred at the end of Frisbie Street, in the court. There is no address that I am aware of. It is bordered by Sunrise Cemetery and an empty lot. I have reported this before (Issue ID 3759962) and the garbage was never removed. There has never been a problem in the past in locating the garbage reported at this location.
The Fire Prevention Division handles weed abatement on vacant lots, not illegal dumping. As it looks like there may be a weed issue as well, I will have our inspector see what can be done about that issue. I have re-assigned the illegal dumping portion back to Code Enforcement. Thank you!
Seems like this neighborhood could serve as a textbook case history of what happens when city government decides to "euthanize" a community - cut off life support to riverside Vallejo, let it die, and call in the developers.
I don't know if the garbage is still there because the weeds have grown so tall. I'm closing this one. This is the only time I have truely been disappointed in city services.

Yes, the weeds were not cut this year and are overgrown.

61 days, and counting,..
And once again in a downtown waterfront neighborhood that City Hall never quite gets around to caring about.
