Why hasn't the Fire Department and the City forced the Mall operators to remove the Chains from the Emergency Exit beside Winners?
they have been notified more than once and still refuse to remove those chains putting people lives at risk!
or is it OK to block a fire exit?

I did read your post, thinker, and you mentioned that you contacted them. If you didn't put it in writing, then it may have been only cursorily checked.
Ah, okay, blondie. I didn't know about the construction. I don't shop at Winners, so I normally go down that section of the SH Mall.

then they should take down the "Exit" signs
just saying.....
during a paniced fire evac, are you gonna be thinking about construction???

they ARE fire exits as designate by a SIGN
they are chained because they are broken, and the Mall refuses to fix them
they are NOT chained to stop theft, if that was the case ALL the doors would be chained
If that exit is no longer deemed to be necessary as a fire exit, then REMOVE THE SIGNS

still chained
still signed as an exit
still quiet in the mall
