Probably the worst intersection I've ever seen. I see an accident here on a weekly basis, traffic here always backs up on to US 1/state rd. which is a highway, making it extremely unsafe. There's so many other issues here, I don't even time to get into them. Do some here, its flat out ridiculous.

This is a terrible nightmare of an intersection and you raise a valid point too about the people blocking the intersection. However, that is nobody's fault but the people who park their cars in the middle of the intersection to begin with. That's just people being jerks. This intersetion needs to be seriously looked at to see if there is anything that can be done to relieve some of the traffic.

This interchange is a poster child for bad design. The only real fix I see is dividing 252, eliminating the left turns and cross-traffic, and creating your standard on- and off-ramps which merge with right lanes. Of course, this would create problems for the local businesses (Wawa, etc.), and the resultant construction would snarl the area even more (until the contractors finished the job in ten years or so). I would love to avoid this intersection but see no reasonable alternative on my way to DCCC from the Eddystone area.

Get rid of the Sunoco station and turn that into a few extra lanes and pave some of the park to create an extra lane to help traffic merge/shift. Supposedly, there was a survey done of this area and a fix was scheduled for late 2009/early 2010. I am still waiting for this fix!

I can't avoid this intersection since I live near it. I dread it as it's so dangerous - both directions. It adds to my discomfort to see so many drivers chatting on their cell phones as they cut in front of cars to turn left onto Rt 1.

With Rose Tree Road closed for work, I cannot avoid taking this road. Traffic backs up all the back to at least Ridge Rd., and this particular area under discussion is a nightmare. Too many roads feeding into a small area. The police will sit at the Sunoco station at Rose Tree Rd, but can't do anything about the congestion and general lack of safety.

this is a disaster maybe if the upper providence police werent so gung ho on stopping speeders they may open their eyes and see this is a problem the police run at full choke just like the chief ! lets get this fixed then you can go back to playing speed cops. just think if the light is fixed you can go back to getting people no stopping for that stop sign again instead of everybody sitting in traffic.
