Until VMT & the owner Matt Fettig actually takes responsibility for his property I want this problem to remain open. Matt Fettig has said in the Times-Herald article that this is the City of Vallejo's problem & the COV says it is on private property of Matt Fettig's VMT. Matt himself lives in Lafayette - would he let this amount of trash pile up on his property there. Matt Fettig makes a lot of promises about VMT/Orcem but the reality of how he really cares for his property in Vallejo is quite different. He lets it stayed filled with trash and become a fire/safety/crime concern for all of Vallejo. His actions says he doesn't care about Vallejo & our safety & well being. He wants to use Vallejo & trash it for his own profit - nothing more.

You need to have someone get this property owner to clean up the refuse all over his land.

If the property is not the City's responsibility, it IS the city's responsibility to force the property owner to comply with health and safety regulations. Are we really just waiting for somebody to "accidentally" burn down this historical landmark?

It should remain open until actual resolution is initiated or better yet, resolved! Otherwise this is a blow smoke program of the city. Buck passing at the best!

There are harmful chemicals being dumped at the site including paints and oils. These are VERY close to the shoreline in this area and environmentally dangerous. COV should really take the time to enforce this code violations as the entire area is being dragged down. Homeless encampments are springing up all over the Lemon street area down there.

I hope the COV is going to actually do something about the trash pile and hazardous waste at the Sperry Mill I want this issue to stay open and I want to know what te coty is doing about it!
