I
got notification that Sonic will install a "temporary" electrical pole in my front yard, 5 feet from an existing electrical pole that is already being held up with 4 support wires. I spoke with an engineer through email regarding the permit for this work, and she said it is a "blanket permit" for all of San Rafael. I would like to speak to someone specifically about this work as I am worried about the integrity of the ground.
The road in front of the house also had been given designated parking squares and has eroded the hill incredibly since they were painted and started being used. The dirt gets knocked down and then the city crew come shovel it with the leaves to clear the drain.
On Monday I was told by Sonic someone will call me back regarding my concerns. I have not heard back from them. The work is scheduled for next week.
