Description
The landlords in this area, get tenants and then take off never to be heard from again... They dont fix their yards, or homes. Yet they expect tenents to pay out ragous rents. Noone wants to pay 1000 or more for a dump that is falling apart and unsafe, when the only gaurentee you get from the landlord is a theft or a shooting. Need more restrictions on landlords...

Some form of rent control regulation in the city would be good - - or stricter guidelines for Section 8, which is what many people in the area are on, enabling the landlords to high-tail it with their cash each month.

Not sure it's really a good idea to have such a non-specific complaint and say that all landlords in Newhallville are the same. Is that really the case? There are restrictions on landlords and the conditions they must maintain in their properties, but you have to report it for anyone to know. LCI is the department that would handle tenant complaints about necessary repairs that have not been undertaken by the landlord.
