Trash of all sorts all over the front yard and driveway including a large pile on the curb lawn (city property) that's spilling into the street (see photo taken this morning). Garbage toters on the driveway but apparently not used.

There is seemingly a homeless woman residing at the old Clark gas station on S. Westnedge and Schuring Rd. There are a heap of items at this closed gas station and a woman sleeps beside it.

Can she receive some assistance?

All kinds of clutter/litter/tents outside and in the back yard. Eye sore for the city park entrance

They have homeless people living in tents and cars and an RV parked in the drive. They have free range chickens wondering around.

there is a duplex on westnedge and it sits across the street from Cliffwood. The person that lives there has so much junk in the North Side and back yard out in the open it is unsightly and its growing

The plows went down wrenbury, leawood and sandpiper this morning 1/31 to clear snow. Then left the rest of the neighborhood streets full of snow.

My wife and I walk more outside since the pandemic. Our route takes us through Millinium park, south on Westnedge to Centre; Centre to Kingston then to Celery Flats down the trails and back. Most of the businesses along Westnedge on this route don’t remove sidewalk snow or ice. That includes city park sidewalks. The stretch east from the Westnedge/Centre intersection to Kingston is ice and snow covered (except for the community center and the funeral home). The folks on Kingston generally do a great job except for a few residents. I recommend the city keep the bike/walking trails free of ice and snow because they’re being used more during the pandemic. I live on Sparrow Ridge St. The house at the corner of our subdivision (805 Romence) never removes sidewalk snow. The plows add layer upon layer over the winter forcing us to walk in the bike path in front of this house and adjacent lot. Perhaps you can use city snow removal equipment for offending parties and charge them for the cost of removal? Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Glenn McDaniel

Beat up car parked and left in the street in front of this home. Not sure if it's inoperable but has been there a long time. Eye sore for the park entrance also.

This city easement has arborvitae planted. The City approved of the planting of this vegetation with the previous owners of the property (3611 Woodhams).
Matt Hybel (3623 Woodhams) took a chainsaw and chopped a large branch down.
When asked why he did it, he responded, "because I wanted to."
At no time did he talk to me or my husband (Anne & Dan Bitzer) about the branch. He just took it upon himself to chop it down. The arborvitae were planted by the previous owner, but the easement is city property.
We are on the third year of construction at 3623 Woodhams (Hybel). The blight along with the outhouse, where construction workers, the Hybels, and random people walking by poop and pee, has become a lot to endure.
Now the added situation of cutting down branches without discussing it with us and the fact that they are on city property has prompted this complaint. We hope to be able to stop the further cutting of the arborvitae located in the city easement between 3611 and 3623 Woodhams.

Merchant Place drive is a private road, however the city of Portage & the water department's heavy trucks have destroyed this portion of our private road. We are looking for some assistance from the city's wear & tear of our private street.
