    The long neglected Intersection of SW Topeka Blvd, 12th st and Huntoon. The East-West pedestrian crosswalks are quite hazardous to those with disability. I watched an elderly and disabled person creeping along in a scooter and nearly tipping over due to unsafe crosswalks. The bricks were a mistake to begin with. They have been patched over shoddily several times and it does not last. The bricks need to be removed entirely and rebuild the crosswalks with new concrete

    Our curb is broken on the 2nd Street side of our lot at 238 SW Woodlawn Ave. with the worst spot at the corner sidewalk cross walk where the north south sidewalk joins 2nd Street. It is a tripping hazard there for sure. There are also other broken places from the corner of 2nd and Woodlawn to our driveway.
    My house (238) is located at the northeast corner of Second and Woodlawn Ave. My curb problem was not included in the Potwin Place curb survey done by the neighborhood. For some reason they did not look at the curb on the north side of 2nd Street between Woodlawn and Greenwood.
    Please help!

    Is this Airbnb properly permitted? It is within 500 ft of 2 other Airbnb's (306 SW Elmwood, 116 SW The Drive), in violation of Topeka's short -term rental policies. This is prime park front real estate that could be enjoyed but Topekan families. Instead it is being monopolized by LLC's profiting off of out -of-turn guests. 2 of these properties are hosted on Airbnb by the same individual, 'Travis'. This property was purchased after the new 500ft separation policy, so it couldn't be grandfathered in.

    What can be done about a vacant house where the owner refuses to cooperate? 329 SW Woodlawn has been vacant for 5 or more years now. Talking in person to the owner, who lives in the 400 block of Woodlawn, has produced no results. The house is deteriorating badly.

    This rut in the street is becoming dangerous. Cars are bottoming out and since we move to the middle to avoid the ruts that part of the road is now getting worse. it's right in front of 303 sw woodlawn in the southbound lane around the circle.its hard to miss.

    Life in city government of Topeka must be very interesting. The city is making a big Summer 2022 push for lawn upkeep and maintenance and stuff to beautify the city. But the city has yet in June 2022 to restore the ROW along most sections of SW 12th street (A 2021 renovation project) What is the matter did you miss the deadline to get your Colorado Grass on order or perhaps it was seized by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

It does not appear house had active trash service though someone is actively dumping trash on the site. Owner has had ample time to address issue.     vacant lot next to 305 sw 13th has a man camping there. picture shows extension cord coming out of the back window at house at 309 (?) sw 13th. He is stealing water from our tenants on van buren. No sewage facilities that I am aware of. He has been living there much of the summer.

    Buchanan Street between SW 6th and SW 8th is in horrible shape. The condition of the road is downright deplorable. There is no portion of the road that is free from potholes. I submit work requests on a weekly basis, as the patches they out in are very temporary and never last. Can we please get a more permanent solution.
