Don't get me wrong, it's a great neighborhood except when some dangerous street people tend to congregate around it.

    I bought two 96-gallon trash bins for a couple of homeless men so that they could have a waterproof container to keep their belongings in instead of leaving their stuff in the park.

    Friday afternoon, someone cut their locks and took their bins and everything in them.

    Based on where they left them (with some other trash bins, which were emptied that afternoon) I suspect that it was city trash collection employees who were understandably confused by the sudden appearance of two locked bins in the pickup location.

    The bins' serial numbers are registered to me. I would like them -- and their contents, if not disposed of -- back, please. I will label the bins "NOT TRASH" and tell the men to be sure to not leave them in a trash pickup spot again.

    Please advise whom I should speak with about this, thank you.

    Due to ongoing PD demolition, many pedestrian signals at this intersection are inactive. They are still being displayed, and not covered or turned away as would be expected per MUTCD.

    Please cover the inaccessible and unusable pedestrian signals as appropriate or turn the indications to face away from the crosswalks.
