328 11th St Se Washington 20003, United States - Capitol Hill
Cars turning right from 11th on to South Carolina do so at high speeds and often without checking for pedestrians. These cars often clip the beginning of the parking zone on the block.
This problem is apparent 7 days a week.
I believe a bump out or some other traffic calming measure would be helpful.

Roadway Striping / Markings Acknowledged1800–1802 E St Se Washington 20003, United States - Stadium-ArmoryNew traffic calming is improvement but is incomplete. First, the pedestrian. Tossing sign in the intersection crossing Potomac Avenue is gone. Also, this is the most dangerous intersection for pedestrians. DDOT needs to add bollards to the new paint areas on each side of the crosswalk across Potomac Ave. the other intersections on E street have them, but not the most dangerous crossing - Potomac just after 18th. Bollards on each side here would force cars to slow through the tight intersection - as opposed to gunning it like they currently do.
