I am the originator of this "See, Click, Fix" about the Street Scape Beautification project on Center Street in Statesville, NC covering up the "All Handicap Parking with CEMENT for the Sidewalk". I would be so thankful if this problem could be fixed for the benefit of others worse off than myself, as well as myself. I have bilateral hip replacements as well as a very mean form of arthritis that's fusing my vertebrae together. I can walk, but it is very, very painful.

    there is a huge pot hole that started to form about two months ago and it is causing damage to vehicles, confusion during rushes because it is so large that you have to get in the left turning lane to turn right. DOT have been fixing roads in statesville for the past six months and some of the roads don't need it, but the ones that do are getting no attention (like this pot hole). hundreds of people come to wal-mart every day along with taco bell, bojangles, McDonalds, and all of the other restaurants and stores in that area.

    Traffic lights need to be synchronized with each other all along RT 21 from BB&T bank to Home Depot. Traffic is snarled because they are not!

    The City of Statesville did a "Street Scape" 'beautification' project on Center Street in Statesville and they're about to do the same thing to West and East Broad Street. When they did this to Center Street, all "Handicap Parking" was covered by cement for sidewalk. Now, non of us in wheelchairs can unload our chairs on Center Street and it will be the same way on West and East Broad Street. I would very much like to have this problem brought to the Statesville City Council's attention. It is impossible for those of us that use wheelchairs to shop the businesses that are effected by this problem. It makes us have to unload our chairs in the middle of traffic and search for ramps to the sidewalks.

    ALL THE LIGHTS ALONG EAST BROAD ST IN STATESVILLE NEED TO BE LOOKED AT. AT THE MALL THERE SHOULD BE A TRIP LIGHT SO WHEN YOU COME OUT IT WOULD THEN TRIP THE LIGHT. SIGNALS ARE SUPPOSE TO SLOW DOWN TRAFFIC, BUT ALSO KEEP THINGS MOVING AS TO NOT HAVE VEHICLES SITTING THERE AND WASTING GAS. IN NYS THEY HAVE SOMEONE CHECKING TRAFFIC LIGHTS ALL THE TIME, TO KEEP MOVING. CAN'T SEEM TO GET AHOLD OF ANYONE IN THIS STATE TO DO ANYTHING. CALLED STATESVILLE DPW BUT THEY SAY IT'S NOT THIER JURISDICTION

    These trees and bushes block the view of oncoming traffic in the parking lot of the Crossroads shopping center. THey need to be trimmed down or replaced with low growing plants. They are very pretty as long as you aren't trying to turn or have someone pulling out in front of you!
