    The below issue was closed WITHOUT Complete Resolution. All the debris still remains in front of this property. The house is vacated, no one is living there and all of the previous tenants belongs are still sitting there. ONLY the bulks items and waste across the street have been picked up. The entire yard is full of junk. There are also two abandon vehicles left on the side of the house. This has been an issue since the beginning of February 2024. Perhaps you need to contact the owner and force them to get this mess cleared. Should the owner be fined for such since they are responsible for setting the belongs outside? We the neighbors are again, seeking you help with this mess. We do not want, do not need, and should not have to be subjected to rodents from the debris.

    DESCRIPTION
    Renters moved out and left bulk furniture items in yard and across the street. Items included mattresses beds dressers chairs tables, etc. Eyesore and habitat for rodents. Please assist?

    The above mentioned items(MESS) sit in the yard, all along the side walks and street area of 1533 Duncan Ave. However, as soon as you proceed along the block the eyesore is very visible. As we all know, this type of debris attracts all sorts of rodents, bugs, animals, etc. Please send a crew out to take care of this before it becomes an extreme issue for our home which is in close proximity.     THIS NUISANCE IS STILL THERE. IT'S GETS WORSE EACH DAY. PLEASE GET IT TORN DOWN. IT IS VERY PROBMATIC TO THOSE OF US WHO LIVE NEXT TO IT. I keep being told, it's on some of list, but this horrible vacant, abandoned, dilapidated structure is still wreaking havoc. Please refer to our numerous prior request, including those given directly to the Mayor.

As it sets, someone continues to add more stuff to the pile. It's beginning to look like a dumping ground. Not just in the area but all along the 1500 block. Please send a truck out to get this junk.

    Please have this house torn down. It is a very bad nuisance in the area. It is a source of rats, raccoons, snakes, stray cats and dogs; now it appears unhoused persons maybe entering it. From my perspective, it should be condemned. My family and I have been complaining about this house for years, but to no avail. What gets me is I can't believe the Mayor and his Council would allow any properties surrounding Mercer University to be such an eyesore. Here's a picture for 1511 Duncan Ave, there is an actual dilapidated house sitting in the mist of all this. We the residents of 1523 Duncan Ave keep our property clean and well manicured at all times. But the blight next door and along the street needs to be addressed. Please and thank you, I really hate to see what would happen if someone threw a match over there or caused a fire at 1511 Duncan Ave( abandon-blight I have reported). My family and our neighbors stand a great chance of loosing everything, not to mention the destruction to the highway roadside.

    Code Enforecement needs to mandate clean up on the entire left side of the 1500 Block of Duncan Ave. There is an abandon lot in dire need of clearing directly across the street in front of 1523 Duncan, very disturbing to look out at. Not to mention it is becoming a dumping ground since bullk items have not been picked up for months. There are abandon vehicles, yard debris, furniture in several spots along the street that need to be picked up and hauled away. In additional, my family has spoken with several officials including the MAYOR about the abandon property at 1511 Duncan Ave and the horrific rodents, snake and critters that have taken up residence there. People come out look around and nothing gets done. We are sick and tired of the broken promises. What will it take to get this area in such close proximity to MERCER UNIVERSITY cleaned up?
