Remove the graffiti as you are required to do so by Sec. 8-51. - Responsibilities of Department of Parks and Recreation of the Macon-Bibb County Code of Ordinances.
It's absolutely unacceptable that gang tagging and drawings of genitals would be left on these buildings FOR YEARS and should not have to be endured by someone burying a family member or visiting their grave.
We have reported several issues and nothing has been done. The next time I visit the cemetery, if there has been no improvement, we will be calling our congressional representatives and the news media.

893 Ponce De Leon Ave Macon, Georgia, 31206 - MaconThis property backs up against St James Ave on the south side of the cemetery; the house is clearly abandoned and vegetation is out of control on the south side of the property. On the north side of the property (adjacent to the cemetery) is a HUGE pile of trash, a shed that's falling apart, and there used to be a fence there that has since been removed or has collapsed. There's also gang graffiti on the shed; it's been reported to the sheriff's office numerous times over the past year. The conditions of this property are in violation of Section 15-79, Declaration of Nuisances, in the Macon-Bibb Code of Ordinances.
