Illegal dumping of empty cardboard boxes, bags of clothing, outdoor patio chair, toys, children books and supplies, one crutch and other miscellaneous discarded household items were tossed all over open space (wetlands) on Catalina Way, close to the Meadows Drive intersection. Private cameras show the illegal dumping occurring around 11:15pm Sunday night. Cameras show a white sedan car stopping and occupants dumping all these items onto the open space and then leaving the area. As a resident of the Catalina Way community, because of changes in weather I wanted to prevent further scattering (of dumped items), so I gathered the scattered items and stacked everything into a large pile for city of Vallejo Public Works pick up. I noticed that several boxes disclosed the following address: 135 Bidwell Way, Vallejo, CA 94589. Please remove this illegally dumped garbage and investigate possible perpetrator.
