Description
Since there are so many complaints and concerns of speeding on Lake Lindero Drive. Could the city install a few "Slow, Children Playing" signs as shown in the picture.
Also while you are at it a couple of "25 MPH" and "15 MPH" signs at the bumps along the street would make the residents happy. Thank you !!
Thank you !

Thank you for submitting a service request to the City of Agoura Hills using SeeClickFix. The City’s Traffic Engineer has reviewed this request, and based on her review of the speed data collected on December 12th and January 11th, it appears almost all of the drivers were going at a reasonable speed. Based on this information she is not recommending any additional signage and/or traffic calming measures at this time.
If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to contact Carlie Campuzano at 818-597-7357 (or Carlie.Campuzano@kimley-horn.com) or Kelly Fisher at 818-597-7338 (kfisher@ci.agoura-hills.ca.us).

Hi Kelly,
Good morning!! Humbly disagree on your argument to close this issue based on the traffic engineer’s observations.
Could you kindly discuss with your supervisors or your team and re-consider the case.
This is a residential neighborhood and proper signage does not need a traffic engineer to authorize such.
Also there is no way @all folks are doing 15 MPH at those flat bumps. It will only take one rouge speeding car to knock a kid or person down and we have seen the speeding during drop off at YB and other times too. (several families here with small kids at least five families I know personally and it’s not just me)
Proper signage will at least attempt to mitigate such a case.
Here are some observations to make sure we are on the same page and agree to some facts.
1) This is related to 0.6 mile stretch of Lake Lindero Drive between TO and Reyes Adobe.
2) There are only two speed signs “BUMPS 15 MPH” at the beginning,
both within 100 yards at both ends of the streets. (TO and Reyes Adobe side) Nothing in between for 0.5 miles.
3) There is only one school sign just before “Rainbow view” as we enter TO side. This is within 0.2 miles.
It will only help if a few more “Children Playing, slow down”signs and “25 MPH” signs are posted along both sides where there are none. That is such a minimum, low execution cost request that I hope the city will consider.
I trust and hope that you will review this thoroughly and remediate.
Kind regards,
-Sunil Rodrigues

Sounds good Kelly - thank you, I understand that this is a platform for reporting maintenance issues and not for major requests like traffic changes.
Mike, I Hope & Pray we never have any traffic accident on LL. :-) And we approach and convince the right people to see what we see.
