Using Hastas in our potted plants and gardens around town may cause unwanted "villains" to penetrate our neighborhoods like deer...LOL. Reference to turkey posting...Hastas are common food for deer and some insects that could be devastating to the plantings and cause unwanted.

You mean HOSTAS, not [sic] "HASTAS". I wouldn't worry about deer eating anything on State St. On the other hand, slugs love Hostas, but "Sluggo" - a non-toxic (well not to slugs) to pets and the environment - snail bait will take care of the slugs.

Planted at least 8 tree wells today and remove bricks so trees can get more water.

We planted a bunch this year.
