Description

The church places loudspeakers in their parking lot and play loud annoying music all. This happens a lot.

Please call in a noise complaint and get your neighbors too, as well. Noise problems in this city and the lack of enforcement have gotten completely out of hand. Please also email your City Council and let them know that you are tired of it and that you want the police to start policing this stuff. Churches are not exempt from disrupting their neighbors, period. See my post about music at the Valero on Raleigh Blvd.

I will pass this on to Capt. Lull of the SE Police District. When he has had a chance to respond I will update this issue.

I called in a complaint and nothing happened. What made things worse is that the speakers were out in the parking lot pointed at houses.

Complaints need to be taken care of and not ignored. This city is seeing too much of this.

This is an event that has been happening for more than 35 years without complaint. Officers contacted the church and the church agreed to reduce the sound level for next year. Please call the Community Officer Lee directly at the SE District Station in the future to lodge a complaint. (919) 996-4455
