Description

At the intersection of Cumming and Henderson there is a small church and restaurant, directly across the street from manning oaks elementary. At least twice during the week and on weekends, either during worship or events, we routinely see people jumping out in traffic to get to their cars parked at the school. There is a crosswalk at 20 yards down at the intersection, but no one uses it. They do have off duty officers up there, but not consistently. Something needs to be done before someone gets hit and/or killed. If they have outgrown the space they are in, perhaps it’s time to move. They don’t have nearly enough parking and so take over much of the elementary school. This is a hazard.
