Whenever a light goes out in the city or county they are being replaced with the new bright white LED lights. We no longer offer the HPS yellowish lights. I have entered a ticket to request a shield or something to diffuse the brightness of this light.

Additionally, HU does have contracted crews out doing changeouts in neighborhoods. Hobbs Rd neighborhood streets were finished last week. (Wynterhall, River Canyon Rd, Chunn, Huntcliff and surrounding streets)

This needs to be left open until the shield or diffuser is added.

There is no point in having a ticket open when there is already a solution.

Street light repair requests have been submitted in this neighborhood many, many times and each time Huntsville Utilities leaves the requests open until the lights are fully repaired.
